Request Data Deletion

Use this page to request deletion of some or all personal data associated with your NOMSai use, without requiring account deletion.

How to Request

1. Email support@nomsai.net with subject: NOMSai Data Deletion Request.
2. Send from your account email address (or include proof of account ownership).
3. Specify what you want deleted, for example: pantry history, capture photos, recipe/grocery interactions, or all personal data.

Data You Can Request To Delete

• Pantry inventory history and quantity records tied to your profile.
• Photo/camera capture submissions and associated extraction results.
• Saved preferences and ingredient like/dislike signals.
• Recipe and grocery interaction history associated with your account.
• Optional location-sharing samples tied to your account.

Data That May Be Retained

• Records required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, abuse detection, and security investigations.
• Limited operational logs and backups retained for disaster recovery windows.
• De-identified or aggregated analytics that no longer identifies you personally.

Timing

We aim to process verified requests promptly. Retained records, when required, are limited to the minimum needed for legal, security, and operational obligations.

Delete Entire Account Instead

If you want the account itself deleted, request data deletion by email and clearly state that you want full account deletion.
